I took my first cake decorating class at the age of 16. Since then, I have been hooked! My passion is cooking and creating foods that people will love, especially cakes.

Almost 10 years ago, when I moved from California to Arizona, I met a wonderful man by the name of Kitchen. It was no surprise to my friends and family when nine-months later I became his wife. Being in the kitchen is what I love, to now have my last name as Kitchen was like the icing on the cake.

Almost two years ago I began decorating cakes professionally. I took a small break to have my fourth little Kitchen. However, within a few months I was back to all my cake decorating fun.

Without saying, I'm addicted to the Food Network. While watching "Ace of Cakes" and "Food Network Challenge", I am continually inspired to recreate and cultivate my passion for cake decorating. With the whimsical ideas and helpful tips, I find myself doing things with cake that I never thought possible. For example, last year I helped a friend with her wedding cake. Armed with only a package of gems and mirrored initials, I sat down and created a cake that she loved, and still talks about to this day.
